Rendang Curry

Rendang Curry

Made with Rendang Curry Medium Curry

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 kg gravy beef or chuck steak cut in small pieces
  • 1 onion coarsely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves coarsely chopped
  • 2 red chillies chopped
  • 2 * 400 mL cans coconut milk
  • 40 gr desiccated coconut
  • 1 stem lemon grass, bruised.
  • 1/3rd cup coriander leaves
  • 30 gr spice it up! Rendang curry spice mix

Preparation

  1. Place beef in large saucepan add all ingredients except for coriander leaves and bring to boil.
  2. Simmer for +/- 2 hours or until tender.
  3. Serve with rice and top with fresh coriander leaves
