Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken

Made with Butter Chicken Mild Curry

Serves 4


  •  125 mL natural yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 700-gr chicken thigh fillet chopped
  • 60-gr butter
  • 30 gr of spice it up! Butter Chicken spice mix
  • 1-tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 425 gr can tomato puree
  • 150 mL chicken stock
  • 250 mL thickened cream


  1. Combine yoghurt, lemon juice and spice it up! Butter chicken spice mix. Add chicken and mix well
    Cover and refrigerate overnight
  2. Heat the butter and oil in a pan. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to low. Add the chicken & marinate, tomato puree and chicken stock.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in cream and cook for a further 10 minutes
  4. Serve with rice.
